The Torbay Medical Research Fund is an independent charitable fund that was set up in 1970 by local medical practitioners to encourage better health in Torbay through supporting local research. The Fund's instigators believed that investing in research meant investing in the future. Over 40 years later the Fund's focus remains on supporting medical, dental, health and care research that benefits the people of Torbay and South Devon.
