Leaving a legacy in your will to Torbay Medical Research Fund
The Torbay Medical Research Fund was established as a charity in 1970 by local medical practitioners in Torbay and South Devon.
The initial charitable funds were built up from legacies left by those same medical practitioners in their wills.
If you would like to support medical, dental, health and care research projects that we fund, then one way to do that would be to leave a legacy in your will to the Torbay Medical Research Fund.
That legacy could either be for a specific sum of money or you could choose to leave a share of the residue of your estate to the charity. Obviously that decision is entirely up to you. We would welcome any legacies, whatever the size.
If you would like to leave a legacy in your will then we would be grateful if when the will is drafted you could refer to the full details of the charity – “Torbay Medical Research Fund of Sigma House, Oak View Close, Edginswell Park, Torquay, TQ2 7FF, Registered Charity No 261932”.
